A TV welcome screen that greets guests by name

The TV in your living room becomes a welcome board. It shows the guest’s first name, stay dates, Wi-Fi with a join code, check-out time and your house notes, and goes back to your welcome message between stays.

The Arrivo TV welcome screen in the Harbour theme greeting Jovan in Maltese, with stay dates, Wi-Fi, check-out at 10:00, a house note about bins, a house guide QR code and the host's phone number.

What’s on the screen

Designed to be read from across the room: large type, high contrast and nothing that needs a remote.

The guest’s first name
Only while a checked-in stay is in progress. Never their surname or anything else from check-in.
Stay dates
Arrival and departure, so nobody has to dig out the booking confirmation.
Wi-Fi
Network name and password, plus a QR code that joins the network from a phone camera.
Check-out time
Large enough to read from the sofa, with your check-out note underneath.
House notes
Up to four items from your guidebook: bins, parking, the hot water switch.
House guide QR
Opens the arrival guide on the guest’s phone. The door code is never shown on the TV.
Your phone number
So the first call goes to you, not to the booking platform.
A clock
In the property’s own time zone.

Setting up a screen takes about two minutes

  1. Open the TV page

On the TV’s web browser, a streaming stick or a small computer plugged into the TV, open the Arrivo TV address and leave it full screen.

  2. Read the code

The screen shows a six-character pairing code. It expires after a few minutes if it is not used.

  3. Pair it in your dashboard

Go to Screens, type the code and choose the property. The TV switches to that property straight away.

  4. Leave it on

The screen checks for changes every minute. Remove it from the dashboard and it goes back to the pairing screen.

Between stays, it’s your welcome board

When nobody is checked in, the screen shows the property name, your welcome message, the Wi-Fi and the house guide. Cleaners and maintenance staff see the same. The theme follows the property, so your Gozo farmhouse can look different from your Valletta flat.

TV questions

What kind of TV do I need?

Any TV with a web browser that can stay open full screen, or any TV with a streaming stick or small computer that can. There is no app to install.

What does the screen show when the property is empty?

Idle mode: the property name, your welcome message, the Wi-Fi details and the house guide QR code. It switches to the guest’s greeting once they have checked in and their stay has started.

Is it safe to show guest information on a TV?

The screen shows the guest’s first name and stay dates only, and only during their stay. The door code and ID details never appear on it.
